ENDORSED BY THE UN:
"Sailing for the ocean we want,
and the science we need."
AN ICONIC SAIL RACER:
Hrimfare before:
Hrimfare was built in the early 1990s as one out of ten Challenge 67 feet steel racers, prepared for the toughest sail racing competition of its time: The Global Challenge – racing around the world "the wrong way" and against the prevailing winds and currents. She sailed four times around the world – with one professional skipper and thirteen amateur crew members onboard.
Hrimfare after:
Hrimfare will be re-launched in the spring of 2024 – after being extensively renovated and upgraded into an advanced research vessel during 2018-2023. Ready to welcome groups with up to 10-12 guest crew members onboard.
