We are proud to say that Hrimfare is certified by MCA Small Commercial Vessel Category 0, meaning unrestricted ocean sailing, which is the highest safety standard in their scale for ships up to 24m. This allows us to sail commercially with up to 12 persons in any water on the planet – including the high latitudes of the Arctic and Antarctica.

It is a structured Safety Management System, and waterproof, laminated procedure flipcharts with the most important step-by-step onboard procedures for preventive maintenance and drills, and emergency procedures that we train on for any imaginable incident that can happen. We also use it as educational material for crew and guests to build further competence and resourcefulness. Any great adventure starts here.
